We have had a fantastic year, we've met some wonderful people and been to some lovely places with a record 57 weddings!
I have put together an image from every wedding from 2013
The year started at Trevenna Barns, Bodmin Moor on the 9th February with the wedding of Stuart and Karen, we went out onto the Moor and met a pair of Black and White Ponies
next stop was the Fowey Hotel for the wedding of Rowan and Stephen on the 16th February
On the 16th March we travelled to the Hartnoll Hotel, Bolham in Devon for the wedding of the lovely Charlotte and Kevin
On the 23rd of March we had the short trip to the Pendragon Country House Hotel Camelford for the wedding of Sharmain and Chris
30th March saw us at the Moorland Garden Hotel Yelverton for the wedding of Darren and Carol
Into April and on the 6th April we went to the Baptist Chapel on Catherine Street Plymouth followed by Borringdon Park Golf Club for the wedding of Craig and Mary they hired a lovely red Morris Minor convertible for the day
13th April saw us at Woodford Methodist Church Plympton followed by a trip to the Mountbatten Centre for the wedding of Lauren and Ben plus a first for me the christening of their daughter Ella
On the 20th of April I photographed the wedding of my friend and fellow wedding photographer Helen who married Gawain at Gwinear Church followed by the reception at Rosewarne Manor
26th April saw us at the Best Western Hotel Newquay for the wedding of Emma and Paul followed by a trip down to Lusty Glaze beach
27th April saw us at the Efordleigh Hotel Plympton for the wedding of Stacey and Adam, who was going to drive the golf buggy got them laughing and they never stopped after that.
also in April we went to the Metropole Hotel, Padstow for the wedding of Suzanne and David
Into May and we had a short trip to Lanteglos Church, Camelford which was followed by the reception at Juliots Well Holiday Park for the wedding of Kelly and Alb
On the 5th May we went to Trevenna Barns for the wedding of Martin and Sarah
11th May saw us at the Glendorgal Hotel Newquay for the wedding of Naomi and Ollie
We then had a marathon set of 3 weddings in 3 days starting with a handfastening ceremony at Knowle Manor near Minehead with Matt and Suzanne
The next day the 19th we went to the Atlantic Hotel Newquay for the wedding of Newlyna and Adam
Then on the 20th we were back to Newquay this time the Great Western Hotel for the wedding of Lindsay and Leon
On the 24th May we had our first wedding at the Eden Project, Rebecca and Matthew got married at Egloshayle Church then went onto the Eden Project's Mediterean Biome for the reception
On the 25th May we went to the Seiner's Hotel Perranporth for the wedding of Abbey and Seth
On the 31st May we went to Wendron Church followed by St Michaels Hotel Falmouth for the wedding of Vicky and James
June saw us at the beautiful Wembury Church near Plympton then onto St Elizabeth's House for the wedding of Melissa and Ross
We had 2 trips to Lands End in June on the 8th it was the turn of Jo and Adam
On the 15th June we went to St Giles on the Heath parish church followed by Lifton Strawberry fields for the wedding of Hayley and Ian
Friday 21st June we were at The Two Bridges Hotel Princetown in the heart of Dartmoor for the wedding of Sue and Dean
Saturday 22nd June saw us back at Lands End for the wedding of Stacie and Andrew it was blowing a gale all day long Summer had arrived!
Saturday 29th June saw us at the Headland Hotel Newquay for the wedding of Sharon and Chris
Into July and on the 6th we were in Charlestown for the wedding of Holly and Josh
Friday 12th July saw us at the fabulous St Germans Church and Port Eliot Estate for the wedding of Demelza and Basil
The Church has a fabulous doorway so I've put in a second photo from this wedding
On the 13th July we made the short trip to The Old Mill House Inn, Trebarwith and then Trebarwith Strand for the Pagan Wedding of Carla and Olly
On the 16th July we went to Trevigue a picturesque farm on the coast between Boscastle and Bude for the wedding of Tracey and Rob
On the 20th July we went to HMS Drake and then onto St Elizabeth's House Plympton for the wedding of Ryan and Charlotte
We next did a Wedding blessing at Bude Castle on the 27th July. Hannah and Rubel had a super day
Back to Trevenna Barns again for the wedding of Kelly-Jo and Toby
We then had a holiday break and started again on the 10th August at the beautiful Lanhydrock Church for the wedding of Laura and Ricky
11th August saw us at The Carlyon Bay Hotel one of 3 trips we made to this splendid hotel in August
Saturday 17th August and we were at Mawnan Church on the Fal penisular a very pretty church for the wedding of Chris and Marie. They had a pair of Strawberry Leisure VW camper vans to take them and the bridal party to the Penmorvah hotel for the reception. Forgot to say it rained all day long well it is August.
The August Bank Holiday saw us at the start of another 3 weddings in 3 day marathon, we began in Padstow at St Petrocs church with the wedding of Rich and Shirl, I photographed the wedding of Shirley's sister Laura (far Left) last year at the Carbis Bay Hotel, St Ives.
The reception was held at the Carlyon Bay Hotel on the south coast so we went from coast to coast, this was our 100th wedding so quite a landmark
The next day, Saturday 24th August we were back at the Glendorgal Hotel Newquay for the wedding of Linda and Graham, every guest had a pink balloon which they all let off together and then Graham took Linda around the hotel on his prized Triumph motorbike
On Sunday 25th August we were in St Agnes for the wedding of Luke and Jennifer, they got married at St Agnes Church then went to St Agnes Beacon for the reception in a Marquee overlooking the sea, one of Cornwal's most dramatic settings and well worthy of a World Heritage status
Friday 30th August saw us back at The Carlyon Bay Hotel for the wedding of Alex and James
For our last wedding in August we were at St Michael's Church Bude followed by a quick excursion to Widemouth bay then onto Roadforde Lake near Launceston for the wedding of Gemma and Rob
Our first stop in September was at Treverbyn Church followed by the Cliff Head Hotel at Carlyon Bay for the wedding of Carrie and Ryan
The 8th September saw us in St Ives at Tregenna Castle for the wedding of Ant and Katie
On the 11th September we did a small wedding at Polpier House in Mevagissey which was featured on "Don't tell the Bride"
Sallina and Jason had a great day
Sunday 15th September was a stormy day I thought winter had come early it was a great shame as Jo and Ian had chosen the stunning Frentafriddle Farm for their wedding which overlooks Trebarwith Strand. As it was only about a mile away from my house we did some sunset shots on the Saturday evening
Saturday 21st September we had our second visit to Lanhydrock Church for the wedding of Helen and Tony
Friday 27th saw us at The Cedars Hotel in Barnstaple for the wedding of Lisa and Steve
The next day we went to Love Lane Caravan Park near Coverack on the Lizard Penisular for the Wedding of Charlie and Simon
Into October and we travelled to Bideford to The Royal Hotel for the wedding of Alastair and Jade
On the 18th October we went to Pencarrow House for the wedding of Lynne and James, Pencarrow House and gardens is a place I have been many times to photograph the beautiful gardens but this was my first wedding there
Saturday 26th October and we travelled to St Erth Church followed by the Godolphin Hotel at Marazion for the reception for the wedding of Charlie and Ross. I had been waiting a while to get some pictures of St Michaels Mount and even the impending "Storm of the century" wasn't going to stop me.
Charlie was simply breathtaking
On the 2nd November we were back at the Glendorgal Hotel Newquay for the wedding of Laura and Charlie
On the 9th November I did a small wedding on my own at Zennor which is around 5 miles west of St Ives on the north coast of Cornwall. Elizabeth and Sean were married at St Senara's Church
December saw us travel to the Millbrook Estate in Devon near Barnstaple for the wedding of Emily and Thomas
The following week I got a call from Chris asking me if I could step in to photograph his wedding at the weekend as his photographer had broken his leg. I was going to put my feet up but decided one more wouldn't hurt so it was off to Brixton Church and then Boringdon Park Golf Club for the wedding of Shelley and Chris
The last wedding of the year was at St Petrocs Church Padstow on the 22nd December. Carly and George had a trip down to the harbour and we even managed a sunset which was closely followed by a hail storm but luckily we were back in the wedding car by then.
Well that's it for 2013 but I have got some fab weddings coming up in 2014
