Weddings in St Austell and around the St Austell area include venues such as The Vean, The Carlyon Bay Hotel and of course the iconic millennium built centre of the Eden Project.

St Austell town itself is a busy one, the main road running through St Austell, the A390 from St Blazey to St Mewan and on to Truro can be fairly slow going with traffic, especially during typical rush hour times and weekends.

St Austell has many shops, supermarkets, industrial estates, schools and a large housing population, after Truro it is one of the largest towns in Cornwall.

Due to the size, the amount of acoomderation located in St Austell is handful to support any amount of wedding guests not hiring out a full wedding venue, there are many private B&Bs swell as high street names such as Premier Inn located in the area. For more intimate weddings the town and the surrounding areas is likely to have many halls, licensed pubs and also a Registry Office.

However for those wishing for something a little more on site, their is of course the well known Carlyon Bay, on the coast just outside of St Austell to the south east.

Other small fishing and coastal towns with in a reasonable distance of St Austell and some Truro are; Gorran Haven, Mevagissey, Porthpean, Fowey, Ropehaven Cliffs, Polruan and a little further afield, Polperro and St Mawes.
