David was very accommodating with having to change our date and venue (x3) due to Covid. He was very professional and got some lovely shots of all of us and was happy to take the time to walk down to the beach from the gardens, he had some great ideas and was also happy to listen to what we wanted. We were particularly impressed with value for money as we eloped we went for the 2 hour package which was ample for us, but David was happy to stay a little longer if necessary. We were determined to find a local photographer that knew the area well and upon seeing some of Davids recent work we instantly knew this was the photographer for us. There was great communication prior to our wedding and all of our individual needs for our tiny registry office wedding were taken into account. We were both so nervous at the thought of having our pictures taken but David created a relaxed environment and we really enjoyed ourselves! My husband and I were recommended David and Christine and am so glad we chose them to capture our wedding day.
From the first time we met them, they made the whole experience straight forward and relaxed. Christine came to our home before the wedding and took some beautiful photos and thankfully she keeps a crochet hook in her handbag, so we were able to get my dress buttoned before I walked up the aisle!
David met my husband-to-be at our wedding venue and took some lovely, relaxed pictures of our friends and family waiting for the bride to (eventually) arrive!
We are so glad we used them, we definitely had our work cut out though, whittling down the photos that would make it into the album! There wasn’t one photo (in almost 500) that we wouldn’t have chosen!

A big thank you to David for the lovely photos he snapped of our wedding on 23rd December 2020. Despite the weather being miserable, he captured some fantastic shots and we are so pleased with the album we’ve been sent!

David was very friendly and relaxed whilst also being professional at the same time! Another huge thank you to his lovely wife Christine for joining him as a witness at our wedding, and for taking a few snaps and holding our bits and bobs whilst we were having snaps on a very wet beach!

David helped capture a life time memory of my proposal. Not only was he very accommodating with the ever changing weather but also offered  advise for the best time of photography and helped me pick out an ideal location. With me not being from the area this was ideal and everything I required. The photos David took were sensational and really captured our emotions and feelings on the day. I could not recommend David enough had I not booked my wedding photographer already I would bring David to the wedding which is 300 miles away! Used David and Christine (Alchemy Photography) and they did a excellent job capturing our wedding day and would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market for a pair of friendly Photographers with alot of experience.
Their work is good and the price is value for your money, very easy going and flexible people, you wouldn't be disappointed.

As a fairly anxious bride-to-be and not overly photogenic, I was so nervous about getting professional photos taken, however I knew some other couples that had used Alchemy Photography and wanted shots to remember the day from.

David was fast to get back to us as a couple and organised a meeting to chat through the essential information both he and his wife Christine needed to know: timings on the day, etc. Even things we didn’t know yet or hadn’t organised they made sure they were flexible on, they showed us some of their past work with couples and brainstormed some ideas for the location. Both local to the area they knew roughly what could be done and where, and were very professional and friendly.

On the day they were both capturing me getting ready and this was good fun despite only being myself and my parents (thanks to COVID)

I love the images they caught of us together and will cherish forever.

The church photos are amazing and even in bizarre times such as these they stretched themselves to get great shots even when one photographer was only allowed in the chapel.

I cannot fault this husband and wife team one bit! Their attitude and love for their work is clear and although not loud and ridiculous they in their own way will get you laughing and focussing on what you’re there to do! I love our wedding shots and I can’t wait to see the video footage and the sunset shots they very kindly retook with us as the weather was too wild with ‘storm Alex’ on the day!

David and his lovely wife Christine took our wedding photos.  The photos turned out beautifully and the couple were amazing and  really listened to our wishes and concerns throughout the whole process from when we first contacted them, right up to the receipt of our fantastic canvas and beautiful book of wedding day photos!  They captured the whole day, from my bridesmaids and I getting ready, to the stunning sunset over the beautiful Cornish coast.  We have so many truly wonderful photographs to remember our special day!  Everyone has said what awesome pictures they are and we honestly can’t recommend this couple highly enough.  Thank you both!
