Terms and Conditions for Alchemy Photography
ALL SERVICES ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
THE PLACING OF A BOOKING CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
“Alchemy Photography” reserve the right to alter pricing without prior notice, however the client will pay the price quoted at time of booking regardless of any subsequent price changes. Once the deposit has been received the price is fixed and cannot be changed.
A £100.00 retainer is required to confirm the booking. Dates are reserved only once this has been paid. The retainer will be refunded ONLY under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of “Alchemy Photography”
The remainder of the payment is due NOT LATER THAN 30 DAYS prior to the date of the wedding ceremony. Failure to pay the balance in full may result in no photographic coverage of your wedding being provided to you. DVD’s, prints and/or photobooks will only be dispatched on receipt of full payment. Payment for any additional items ordered (e.g. canvas prints, photobooks and frames) must be made at the time of ordering.
The services provided comprise all photography services, consultations and photographic products as detailed in the individual booking confirmation details.
TRAVEL EXPENSES AND ADDITIONAL EXPENSES
All travel expenses are included for locations in mainland Cornwall and Devon. Travel to other locations will attract further costs and/or overnight accommodation as agreed with the client. The client will further be responsible for any entry fees to venues incurred by “Alchemy Photography” in the carrying out of their services
The judgment of “Alchemy Photography” on photographic style and the number of photographs taken shall be deemed to be correct. “Alchemy Photography” reserves the right to withhold any images which are believed to be of insufficient technical or creative quality.
Factors including, but not limited to, weather conditions, venue restrictions, and the availability and willingness of subjects may affect your photographs on the day, consequently, although every effort will be made to honour requested photographs “Alchemy Photography” do not guarantee to provide any specific picture nor to incorporate any specific background, location or group. “Alchemy Photography” cannot guarantee to photograph the ceremony, if permission is denied by the Celebrant or venue.
All the images taken by “Alchemy Photography” are copyright of the individual photographers concerned. Your Digital Images will contain full resolution, watermark-free versions of your photographic images together with a licence to print and share images. This allows you to use these images for any personal use you see fit, including reproducing prints, and sharing your Digital Images, however commercial use is not permitted. The copyright will remain at all times with “Alchemy Photography” who are owners of the images taken.
“Alchemy Photography” shall be the sole official (stills) photographer at the venues specified unless otherwise pre-arranged. Notwithstanding this, family/friends and guests may take photographs throughout the day.
In order to ensure that “Alchemy Photography” can provide the best quality images possible from your day we respectfully request that the bride and groom set aside a period of time exclusively to “Alchemy Photography” with no other photographer / videographer present.
In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, injury or sickness, or any other factor beyond the control of “Alchemy Photography”, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Your statutory rights will be unaffected.
MEALS AND REFRESHMENTS
“Alchemy Photography” will not undertake to provide photography during the wedding breakfast, unless specifically arranged in advance. For our Carnation, Rose and Orchid Packages provision should be made with your venue to ensure that the photographer/s can obtain a hot meal during this time.
In the event that “Alchemy Photography” has to cancel for reasons beyond its control, (e.g. death, illness, injury etc.) liability shall be limited to refund of all monies paid.
In the event that the client makes a cancellation, the deposit paid will not be refunded. Furthermore the following charges will be applied for late cancellations:-
Cancellation less than three calendar months, but more than one calendar month in advance of the wedding date: 35% of the wedding balance will be payable.
Cancellation less than one calendar month in advance of the wedding date: 65% of the wedding balance will be payable.
Any cancellations must be notified to “Alchemy Photography” by email or in writing.
Should the wedding be postponed, then, subject to availability, all monies paid will be applied to the new date. If “Alchemy Photography” has another booking for that day then all monies paid, excluding retainer will be refunded.
“Alchemy Photography” cannot be held responsible for delays or lack of coverage due to the provision of incorrect information by the client, nor to any failure on the part of the client to inform “Alchemy Photography” as to any material changes to factors such as dates, times and venues.
